I recently bought a white XT My13 for my wife,, She loves it (and so do I) Man it's quick still on the first 1000km so haven't taken it past 4000rpm but for a med SUV she gets up a go's very surprising. Personally as a family man with 2 kids I'm really blown away by the improvements Subaru have put into this awesome machine, We used to own a MY99 WRX Wagon and this XT would eat that for breakfast, Interior is Awesome with nearly everything you would need/want and incredibly safe. I was a bit bummed by the CVVT gearbox at first but now I have driven it a bit it's awesome to drive in S# mode it changes the whole feel of the car. the best thing of all insurance is crazy cheap coming in $175 cheaper than our old VYS 2003 which was insured for 12k. 

Downs not a huge fan of the wheels although the pic of the lowered one makes the wheels look better, No "S" version this time round in AUS according to Subaru although you can get most the bits and bobs to STI it up from AUS the rest you can source from Subaru Japan if you choose too, lastly in Japan the XT is tuned to 200kw and 383nm of RON 98 fuel up from 177kw and 350nm on RON 95.. and subaru recommend using RON 98 "Give me my 23kw LOL and I will LOL also in the US also I believe they have or are going to bring out a E85 model.. Could have been worth a thought from Subaru AUS 

anyone in the market for european styling and awesome performance but have kids and travel on your mind this car imo is class leading (and we drove them all) and def worth a look.
