Your old integra would poo in it in both power and handling. I don't know why p platers want to go fast in a straight line so badly... It's so boring. If half of them actually just learnt proper driving skills etc. we probably wouldn't have so many problems with fatal crashes etc... Not shit canning you personally t00ze. Just annoys me when all p platers want is a car that is 'fast'

As for best N/A Subaru... Anything 6 cylinder. With and exhaust and intake, they sound like a flat 6 Porsche and when boosted, produce excellent numbers.

I completely understand what your saying, I'm just seeing what's on offer from Subarus in terms of performance. I'm originally from the UK, now living in Melbourne, and got my license when I was 17 (Youngest age to obtain license) and my first car was in fact a Honda Civic Eg Turbo which made 200kwatw :3 God I Miss that thing. So yeah sorry If I'm coming across as a Hoon, It's just frustrating going from a Turbo to N/A after having a Turbo as my first car.

It's 15% over the largest factory option, so a 3L can go to 3.45

So in theory swapping an EJ25 into a GC8 is okay? Considering they did come with that engine from the factory?

As above generally the liberty/ legacy marque had owned the Gen 1,2,3,4,5 titles
Imprezas are known by most as either classics gc or gc8 shape
bug /
Blob / peanut eye
Hawk eye/ pig nose
ugly betty
Etc

Okay I see now, I was familiar with the bug/blobeye nicknames but thanks for clearing that up :)

i think OP is referring to the oldschool pretzels as gen1s and the next update the bug eye as gen2?

+1 on the headgasket, similar issues happen with the ej25sohc but its even easier to fix :)

yeah sorry if I'm throwing you guys off I'm still yet to learn the terms for different generations. Am I right in saying the GC8's, GF8's as gen1 and then the bugeye/blobeye and hawkeye faclifts as gen2's?
