Hey guys since it's hot here in Melbourne started using my A/C, but yesterday when I started up my car and drove with my A/C it really ran like a bucket of s***. For example, my car gets put under so much stress when the A/C is on that I can't take off in 1st, I literally have to ride the clutch engagement point or else the car shudders, shakes and just dies. The revs are crazy when the A/C is on, and the gear shifting feels so rough and kind of slams into the gears and makes the car shudder. 

I'm not sure whats up, but it's never happened before since yesterday when I went to take off in 1st with the A/C and the car literally gave up, when it gave up the gears became really hard to change like the gear stick was really hard to move.

Any thoughts?

Hey Guys, just a quick question.

Whenever I start-up cold I usually let my car warm up for 5 minutes but I always seem to smell fuel or gas or something. I haven't really tested this on a warm start-up but on off the top of your heads any ideas?

Hey guys, just wanted to run by you a noise I'm hearing atm. 

When I start-up my scoobs, I let it warm up for about 5 minutes. Although when I start driving the first few gear changes there's a rattle? It mainly occurs from take-off to 2nd Gear. It sounds like something tinny, or metally. Although once I'm off and going the sound doesn't really re-appear once the car has been driven for over 5-10 minutes.

Also : This car is my first manual, I knew how to drive manual before i bought it but not so well, but over the past month of driving it there has been quite a number of times where I've accidentally rev'ed it out before fully releasing the clutch on a hill, or sometimes a standstill, and on one or two occasions I've accidentally let out the clutch before engaging into a gear and it grinded and freaked me the hell out! Just wanted to know how much a clutch can actually take before saying forkkkk you! It's just that this is the first car I've bought with my own money and saved like crazy to get it, every-time I have a bad start off or have a bad hill-start I cringe becauase I hate the feeling of ruining the clutch! There's no slippage yet, or any other signs. But I'm just worried with my driving habbit's I'll have to keep 600-700$ tucked away for a new clutch very soon.

Picked up this gem a few weeks ago, was driving a 4Cyl 96' Magna for the past 3 Years so the transition into this Subaru feels amazing. Hey everyone, new here - have loved Subarus all my life and finally managed to wrap my hands around one, an 04 Impreza GX Wagon! I'll be picking it up tomorrow night and I cannot wait to start modding it planning on keeping it very simple and clean, and giving it a subtle JDM look. Also, I'm not too fussed that it's only a EJ20, power isn't everything and I've never owned an AWD
