Hey guys
Managed to score a couple of days of work and decided to take my rex on its first long road trip to Port Macquarie from Tamworth to see some mates. I've done the trip a many times before in my old cars (Camry and Calais). This trip was a lot more fun, had an almost clear run the whole way except for one caravan. I must say they were pretty courteous and slowed down and waved me past, wish more would do that. Anyway... the car performed brilliantly only things i could pick out the started to annoy me was...
Wish i could afford the STI with the six speed, but the upside to the 5 is having the power constantly in top gear
I need those sway bars...
What my main reason for posting is i'm curious as to everyones cornering techniques in public road conditions?
I had a couple brown undies moments just trying different things lo.l Don't get me wrong i wasn't trying to get sideways nor trying to put any other drivers at risk by driving like a moron, Just trying to drive the car how it's built to be driven. I know i'll get better as i practice ( its only got 1500ks on it). It's my first AWD car and any tips you could share would be great.
Thanks
Lindsey
