As far as swerving for small animals... Arelius knows what happens when you dont! I would still swerve.

I hit a Roo a few years ago in the Skyline... wasn't pretty! I swerved a tiny bit, but at 100kms there wasn't much I could do.

I got out of it pretty lightly... Insurance covered it ($2000 excess at the time though :() - about $7000 damage, but both my mate and I were unhurt, which is the most important thing. Can't say the same for the roo though... a bullet to the head put him out of his pain.

In Topic: Weird Clutch Pedal

This issue is not related to the age of the clutch.
It is a fault in the operating system.

IMO a good mechanic will also quote on new hydraulics (or cable) when quoting on a clutch replacement.

No a Suby, but meh ;)

When I got a new clutch put in the Skyline a couple of years ago I had a similar problem (i.e. it only started when the clutch was changed). I'd take it back to the place that changed it and by the time I got there it was working fine again! They eventually agreed to bleed the lines for me... since then no probs. Takeup is just as tight (i.e. quite close to the floor) as the day it was put in, and no more funny business!

I should try emphise my sarcasm more...

Lol nah I realise you weren't serious! I was more just musing over the fact that someone would actually think to mount a propeller in the exhaust like that...

soo rather then have a turbo force air into the engine this sucks air out.

Hmmm... but without an actual motor, it will just be a passive fan which would actually add a small amount of restriction to the exhaust flow... the only time it might ACTUALLY scavenge some exhaust gasses out would be immediately after backoff from a high-revving squirt - i.e. the prop would be spinning it's head off and then when you back off it might suck a little bit out while it spins down...

Seriously... who would ever think of doing something like that though??? :dash2:

Looks decent... I really like the front lip - though do you find that it scrapes if you go over any sort of incline (i.e. steep driveway entrance, etc), being lower than the stock bumper (which in most of the examples I've seen usually has the bottom edge all scratched from scraping)?
