Hey guys,

I couldnt be stuffed wiring up the turning lights with all the relays and capasiters and fancy pants things so i thought of a new use for them.







It could be brighter, at the moment is using a 21w amber light.

Thoughts?

Was driving to port macquarie today in my old mans falcon,

20km out of town in some hills - BANG.

I know it ain't a Subaru, but meh, thought I'd share my current project.

Its an 1985 corolla that I picked up for a friend for $500 for a first car for her.

When I got it:
















Several things needed doing,

first thing on the list, repainting, Which we started prepping for today. Sanded and almost ready for paint:



















Will start painting tomorrow, when thats done, will be replacing alot of interior items. Pics at a later stage of that.

interior stuff that needs doing includes:

roof lining replaced,
front seats replaced,
door trims replaced,
dash top needs replacing,
plastic bits in the back need replacing.

and thats about it i think.

Will update when we do more.

Update:

Almost ready to paint, undercoat on and sanded too make it smooth...

Paints now down.

UPDATE:

Cars now just about ready to register, blue slip booked for tuesday.

Took awhile to get from paint to here due to work and being sick an stuff but glad its done now. Looks like a car finally.
