Hey,

I've been shopping around for a used WRX (MY11 or MY12) for at least 2 months now.

I may seem picky, and perhaps a tightarse, but i'm just being careful as i'd like this next car to last me for years to come.

The one thing i'm finding hard to believe is the pricing of these used vehicles. Some dealerships (even private owners) want something more than $32-33K for cars that are made in 2011, when even their subaru warranty has run out. 

Am i the only one that thinks these cars should be in the $25-$26k mark? I remember when i sold my premium 2010 MY11 WRX (hatch), i got $26k for it and I was bloody happy about that (my competition was only $500 less or more than the price i sold mine at the time, about a year and a half ago).

Surely low k's on a car aren't the only thing that merit its (in my mind) extremely high value? 

I'm starting to get desperate, and to be honest i am starting to think that maybe i need to shop around for a completely different vehicle.

Thoughts, advice and suggestions most certainly welcome

I'm looking to inspect a vehicle In South Australia. I live in Sydney so can't do that myself (not that I would pretend I know as much as a qualified specialist).

I rang RAA, but surprisingly they said they don't travel to where the car is. It's located In Encounter bay (which is about 80km from Adelaide CBD)

Does anyone know another reputable group I can use for this inspection?

I found these two online, but I'm not sure if I can trust their service as much as RAA (I read some really good things about RAA):

Hey guys,

Looking to purchase my second Subaru WRX.

I'm looking for anything between 2010 and 2014.

I've noticed one thing, some of them have the large STi wing at the back, and some of them have a small spoiler.

Was that an option or an "upgrade" when they were being sold brand new? Does anyone know for sure?

Also, if i wanted to get a wing for myself (if the car i'm looking at has no wing), would i need an entire new boot, or will the wing be compatible with the boot/spoiler?
