Yeah mate. V1's are the red ones. BR's are gold.

I had V1's on my last Suby, they were great. They were on the car for nearly 3 years, clocked about 80k kms. The pillow ball top mounts wore out in that time but it was piss easy and quite cheap to find replacements.

I only realised how good they were towards the last few months of running them. Driving Targa roads In Tasmania in wet conditions with them set at full hard was awesome. The handling was wicked.

Having said that, I would buy BR's next time. Simply because, I want more!

Alright thanks mate ill keep that in miind i think i'll go for the bc v1's

MCA!!!!

Ring them up answer their questions and they will build them for your car/setup

rather than a default setting.....

Great customer service too!

How much do MCA coilovers generally go for?

BC BR/V1 or MCA's Blue? (i think) are the best bang for buck coilovers. I personally run BC BRs and cant fault them.

are bc br the red ones or a diffrent series all up?

Have you driven in a car with coilovers?

Are you going to keep this car when you get off your Ps?

Do you have a lazy $1200 lying around?

Coilovers are great, just not always neccesary, second hand STi suspension can be a lot cheaper and provide great results. Even just springs can do a lot.

But if looking at coilovers give Ichiban a call.

Thanks mate any ideas where i should be looking for some second hand sti suspension
