Any ej257 would do you good. Ej25 would also work if you had the better internals. So basically an sti swap. I'm not sure the conversion from kW from hp but I just got my car back(04 wrx) with a built ej25 with forged internals and upgraded turbo(weird hybrid? Not sure what it actually is but spools great!) that puts out 26lbs and I'm making just under 400hp with a really bad tune.
I might of gotten off topic a bit there but yeah you can get ej257 second hand and rebuilt or from a crate. Mine is rebuilt. 11,000$ build to handle 500hp safely. All I need to have that is a tune bigger injectors and a bigger tuebo
