p0037 is the Rear O2 sensor which usually looks after CAT converter efficiency more than anything.

If the code won't clear then I'd be looking at the physical wiring and connectors first,

What sort of scanner do you have?
Will it clear codes with the engine running?

Do you have any exhaust mods?
Have you recently done anything under the car or in the engine bay?

yea it was the second sensor i checked the connection retried  scanning an clearing worked this time

I've tried clearing the code off the scanner, light still stays on (engine light, traction control light, cruise light flashes)

any other method to reset ?
