Hey Kurt, I have not given any advise thus far, and really I'm little help now, but this I do Have to add... Subi Techs really only look at fault codes. If you have a problem more ellusive than this, you really have to go to great lengths to convince them, and then they get Jim McCabe involved, and if you are really 'lucky' the 'trainers' and propellor heads at head office. You then need to convince them firstly, that you know enough to not cop the 'within specs" "customerservicespeak" to get you to go away... You, just like me have been through all of that... This week I had Zupps tell me the most telling thing yet- ' Take it to your subaru specialist, and get him to indicate where he would look and we might even take a look a the possibility of covering your costs for him to fix it"... wow!!! Regardless, at this point you should be past the gall produced by your inner tight ass, and like me, it is time to give the car to someone that isn't zupps, and see if they can diagnose the problem... Am I reading right that you have had an engine change? what was the impetus behind this? Subaru don't do that without a reason, what did they discover? Was it a short block or were most of the ancillaries and heads etc changed and well. Look at what was changed as being on the short list, the rest as being still sus... I would like to drive your car to really tell you more, but the previous posts regarding starvation or ignition have to be near the money... I just wouldn't mind betting with my experiance that a morning with the car with Michael Collins at Scorpion at Capalaba would get you a long way towards the diagnosis... You know me. PM on any forum and I'm happy to help bro.

HAHAHA... Aren't they known as 'geosquealers'! I'm running the 17's off the lib gt on the wifes foz gt, and the handling improved out of sight... If you come to the conclusion that you aren't really going properly off road why not go across to a proper road tyre... The next trick will be a white line for the rear... Then front if need be, but i'd doubt it. Then if the mood still strikes me I might bring it down to earth with some stock wrx struts, but I think we like the gutter clearance real high like now... Soooo different to a lowered lib... ##cue front bar scraping noises###
