I know how hard this will be,but has anyone put a whole wiring harness from a 03-05 themselves into a gc8??

Im running, GC8 body, 01 Buyege with wiring/ecu with 03 STI engine, running no AVCS

(note...wiring/Ecu was mean't to be 04 when i bought it, but turns out its not).

 

Is there anyone running a STI combo in there wrx's without AVCS?

Is it REALLY laggy or is it enjoyable still to drive? 

Not after a power house, but want something nice to drive daily.

Hey Guys,
I have a 98 GC8 with 01Bugeye wiring/Ecu.
Trying to flash my Ecu with Ecuflash/tactrix cable.
I can read and copy my rom fine, but
I went flash it and there is no white plug under the dash, i have looked everywhere. only a green set(Test mode), black set, a single black plug and 2 single black wires with pins.I got 4.28volts Error,with only green ones in. Did a test flash and is said it was successful.
Does anyone happen to know which wires need to be joined?

Looking at buying a friend of a friends 98 Club spec Wrx he has for Sale.

Mods. It has a 04 EJ205 engine stock 04 ECU and 04 gearbox with HD clutch. has a process west top mount cooler, stainless headers, boost t peice cold air induct, HD clutch. Brand new XYZ coil-overs, 3inch exhaust. Gold STI rims.etc..

Timing belt and water pump done 20k ago. Engine installed 20k ago has 170xxxkms on engine, and Body has 240xxxkm on body. Plus its had a respray done as well.

 

He wants $7,000. with RWC and 6 months Rego

I think it's a good deal, but interested in people's thoughts?
