Today I have replaced the fuel pump controller in my B4 and it seems like the car start every time in several hot start. Problem fixed

any workshops in brisbane that you guys recommend to do the Brant alarm removal? and usallly how much do they charge for this?

mmmmm... I'd check the pump was not working before I replaced the relay.

 

You should be able to hear the pump come on 'high' for a few seconds (noisy), then throttle back to the 1/3 quiet mode when you turn on the ignition (without starting).  Dig in under the RHS rear seat cushion where the pump lives if you can't hear it.

 

Check that it isn't turning on when you have your hot start problems... then check the voltage at the pump contacts.

 

Could be dodgy relay, dodgy pump, dodgy pump controller (they are known to die sometimes, I think).  If you bought a new one, then plonk it in and see if your problem has gone.

do you have a Brant alarm?

I still have the Brant alarm in my car. Does it matter?
