OK I have made some progress, but no success.
Going back to basics
- There was no immobiliser in the half cut I sourced the motor out of.
- tested all 4 coil packs, running them up on a signal generator.
- Tested injectors, 3 blocked replaced all 4 with new.
- Timing belt had slipped, new timing belt fitted, compression test good.
- Cam & Crank sensors changed, reasonable signal when cranking
- I have confirmed the ECU doe not have an immobiliser.
- I have tried an other ECU, from an Aust delivered B4, I know the wrecker who had just sold the motor. Tried ECU and body loom.
- Checked for error codes, none
- I have no ignition or injector pulses other than a single one when first cranking.
- Double checked wiring against wiring diagram and the second loom.
I have no luck in finding an other JDM ECU.
Is it possible to get an ECU tested in Australia for a JDM?
Any other ideas welcome.
