After realising I probably can't get away with a turbo conversion on my gen 3, and seriously can't stand the lack of power in the Na ej25 I've decided to look into a h6 conversion.
I know a ez30 goes for around 1-2k but that's without a box and loom and ecu. My questions are about gearbox options, I doubt the stock gen 3 5 speed can Handel the extra tourque? but what about a Sti 5 speed or a late model wrx 5 speed ? Ideally I want a 6 speed but everyone separates them and sells them for twice the price of the engine they came off.
Anyone done something similar ?
maybe an imported b4 3.0 front cut and spend a weekend bolting everything in ?
any insight would be appreciated
