Why is insurance so expensive for a wrx??

I've been doing some research on insurance quotes for a hawkeye wrx and the best quote I have found is $1687 annually for full comprehensive plus $850 excess if I crash. Does this seem right? What do you guys pay? Thank you!

Should I buy a used stock wrx or a used modified wrx?

Hey guys just wanting some advice as to buying a stock wrx or a modified one? In my eyes a modded one saves me a lot of $ as I won't need to spend anything on mods like I would if I bought a stock one. However stock ones tend to be more reliable etc. Got 13k to play with, what should I do?

Should I respray front bumper or just get a new one?

Front bumper is peeling all over and not sure if I should get a new one or get it resprayed. If you guys have any other sugestions or alternatives please let know, cheers

Wheels rubbing on rear guards, solutions?

Hey guys I recently lowered my impreza with kings super low springs and they are sitting on 18×8.5 XXR wheels. Ever since I have lowered it the back wheels occasionally rub on the guards when I go over a bump and it's so painful to hear. I have been quoted $500 to roll the rear guards which I think is a bit over priced. Will rolling the guards solve this issue or is there something else I should consider? (except going back to stock) any help would be great, cheers
