Getting new rims!

08 September 2013 - 11:35 PM

Hey guys, need some advice..

I used to have some Rota grids which were 18 x 9.5 +38.

I am looking at a set of brand new genuine Work XD9 rims, which are 18 x 10 +38.

I will be running wider tyres, say 235 wide but the question is:

I was very close to hitting the coilovers with the inside of the Rota Grids, if i were to put 10" wide rims with the same offset, would I be more likely to hit the strut?

Cheers for any advice.

Subyclub Stickers

07 August 2013 - 09:44 PM

Hey Admins!

You should start doing Subyclub Logo stickers, like the one ^ ^ ^ that say SUBYCLUB - For The Subaru Enthusiast with the top of the car above it.

I would definitely rep one, and I am sure they would be popular and I know of a place where I get my stickers made up in decent quality and are quite cheap, so that its either cheaper for members to purchase, or you make more profit off them for the club.

Let me know if this can happen, I can even sell them from my store at www.itsahardlife.net

Cheers,

Turbo opinions - Tax time…

15 July 2013 - 10:44 PM

Tax time is upon us and I feel the urge to spend some dollars on more power.

I am currently running the TD04 turbo on the EJ257 STI engine, with STI Top-mount and a custom tune.

I would really love to take it down to Michael South for a tune and maybe a new 3" exhaust while I am there, something decent so Im not wasting money…

What are peoples thoughts on turbos and anything else I may need? I have been told I will need bigger injectors?

What muffler should I run with the 3" TBE? Should I go for some EL headers?

SYDNEY GUYS can you help?

30 May 2013 - 12:54 PM

Lads I have secured a set of new tires for my vehicle but I need them picked up 6pm tomorrow night. The guy I am buying them off lives in Seaforth.

I am wondering if anyone would be willing to meet up with the guy and grab the tires for me. For your efforts I will swing you $50 cold hard cash.

I am trying to make it down that way but I am not sure if it will be tomorrow and this is too good to pass up.
Please let me know if you may be able to help out. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Front Camber adjustment Gen 3

15 May 2013 - 08:57 PM

Lads, I was under the assumption that the Whiteline KTA124 would fit both front and rear to give you more flexibility when it comes to camber adjustment, but the Whiteline website says its for rear only!!

What other way am I able to adjust the camber enough so it is the same as the rear. I am running coilovers and this makes the rear negative camber.

Any suggestions?
Camber arm from another model?
