Ok to easy. I have brought another differential sensor so I will replace that and reset the ECU and go
From there. Is it true that if I disconnect the battery for at least 10 minutes it will reset the ECU?

Cheers,

Hi PEEKAY,

Did you end up finding out what caused the code p1241 fault? Did changing the vac lines help it? Also did you get a 1199 - differential pressure sensor fault come up as??

Cheers,

Brad

Yeah I do get black smoke puffs. Also have carbon black marks on my rear bumper exhaust side to prove it. Ok I'll check the system.
Could it have something to do with the ECV actuator at all? Can I loose boost due to that needing adjustment or would that not cause it?

Hi Kong,

Nah I live in WA. Dam. Would of for sure. The twin turbo system is so over engineered hey. I will nut this out. Do you know how much the differential pressure sensors are and where I can pick up a cheap one?
I will keep you up dated on my progress. I just ran my B4 on the dyno.. Ran 200KW at all 4 or 270 HP. Are they pretty good stats?

Ok mate cheers for that I'll check it when I get home.

It's weird what's happening. When the car is loaded up(ie; low revs in 3rd, 4th and 5th, it flutters or hunts between 0 psi and 5 psi until it starts to reach change over.

You can also start to hear lose of boost noise or it sounds like there air leaking past a diaphragm coming from the drivers side under the bonnet.

Any one help me out here or has anyone had that or heard of these problems before??
