Hi El Freddo, Just saw your info on Redback and your work on the Welsh plugs - massive grub screws/threaded plugs. I have had the same welsh plug blow out twice on my 92 Brumby. First time was after heads were fully reconditioned and aftermarket welsh plugs installed then second time I installed a genuine Subaru plug which blew out after 15000 klm. Could you please let me know what size thread you taped in the hole and where I could purchase the brass plug and what sealant you used on plug?
