DBW throttle body problems after cleaning

So, after all the drama with hesitation on driving I took the throttle body off to clean it.
apparently I have ruined it by opening the butterfly to clean it (sealed drive by wire) and now I am having all sorts of problems with codes etc.
I have one of our guys willing to post me a replacement but am keen to know, if there is a reset I can perform or have I ruined the throttle body by manually opening the throttle?
car is 2006 2.0R DOHC N/A


Removing front bar 06 Impreza

Let me get this straight, remove several plastic pins etc, take out the near impossible to remove without breaking front grills, disconnect any wires then literally pull the bar off?
