Is there anything unique to Subaru's about the thermostat? Will a Tridon from Repco do the trick? It's marked with temp of 78C.

Is there a special sealant needed when re-installing a sump?It feels like a silicone compound and comes off easy on the wire wheel.Must be good stuff if not using a gasket.
