Hi All,

I am a newbie to the forum and am hoping to have some light shed on some issues and also to share some problems we have had with the Levorg.

1. LHS rear muffler had an internal rattle. The local dealer couldn't find it after having the car for a week and on another 3 occassions. A local tech found it instantly once he put it on the hoist. Subaru dealer replaced it on warranty after we brought it to their attention.
2. Heavy rain sets off fault lights on dash - The rain set off the warning light initially for the eyesight technology and then engine light and then the sports mode light came on. Our local dealer had some young guy in the service advisor role said it was due to "bad fuel". Complete crap. Particularly as the engine was running fine.

So has anyone experienced similar issues and what was the outcome? Any info greatly welcomed.

I say leave it up. We all need to be aware of the issues consumers can face when a large company tries to avoid its obligation to consumers. He has documentation to support his case. Put yourself in his shoes? What would you do? How would you seek compensation?
