I did a 6 lap package. be careful taking rental cars there as they have been know to have spy's and you will be hit with a premium.

hmmm good call. will suss it out a bit more and see what the other boys reckon as well. But defintely keen to give it a go one way or anther.

hey

I went through http://www.rentracec...ices/index.html . Heidi was very helpful and they will book a car withot a deposit although they would like you to inform them 48hrs before if you are not coming..

sweet, thanks for that. did you do the half or full day? only problem will be our age. I'll be only one over 23, so might have to do go with the swift :0 wonder if can take a rental car on there. assume it would void the insurance though.

mad! how did you go hiring a car for the laps? me and couple mates plan to go over there in a few months, and this is one thing that popped up on all our want to do lists.

Yer the one for the tailgate. Maybe the stock suspension has changed the angles of the end links/bar/mounts and something is rubbing? I just put it down to the increased stiffness of the lower half of the car compared to the rest of the 'boot section'. If you have access to one, see if putting on a rear strut brace on helps, may help keep it together a bit more. no idea if it would work, just thinking out loud really.

also have to swap your rear struts for non-self levelling ones as they will just die if you put in lowered springs. get GD (01-07) wrx wagon struts and springs or GD (01-05) STI struts and springs. Secondhand should cost like 3-500 max.
or coilovers as cam sugested.
