I generally just rub my balls on the brake pedal and hope they work

Did you set the pad angle properly when you put them back in Gary?

Cool, they squeel horribly when they get a bit worn if you don't do it right.

Ha ha, well I must be doing it right all these times then! They only squeal when they're due for a change.

Just got a call to say my hospital procedure for Friday (was booked in August) has been canceled and my spot given to someone easier (I need general anaesthetic not twilight). It wouldn't have been all that bad if the $220 we spent on accommodation for the night was refunded because it wasn't our choice....Woman on phone was harsh and blunt and sounded quite happy saying "we won't be giving a refund".

We've decided to go anyway and find some shit to do for a few days, so I'll take any parts that will suit my car that people plan on scrapping!

Anyone had better news?

*EDIT* Few details - Hospital is in Randwick and we live 4.5 hours drive away.

There'll be plenty to do in Randwick/Coogee for the weekend, make the most of it and hit up Coogee for dinner.

Gary re braques, yeah I could change pads, but I can't machine rotors, and I can't also do a brake test. So safer to pay my mech to do it, he doesn't rip me off so won't be too much. Plus looks good in log book, I never trust people who sell their car and state they did the brake and oil changes.

Do you travel with 2 kids?

That's what slows the trip.

I'm familiar with the area, been doing these trips for 27 years.

+1. Plenty to do. You could even give The Entertainment Quarter a visit. There are a few restaurants there as well as a Hoyts cinema and Strike Bowling. Cirque du Soleil is on as well.

Oh I didn't know you needed your brake discs machined. That's fair enough then man. I'd do the exact same thing. I only do what I am capable and sure of doing. Everything else is left to the ICHIban boys.

I think Josh normally makes the trip with kids, he just makes it in quicker time since they clamped down on child abduction.

For sure, my trip times would be much shorter if they weren't my kids and/or if I had more than 2.

Yeah I bet it will, should be laws against that ***** having exclusive rights to shit and charging through the roof for it in a format that less and less people want.

They want people to stop pirating in this country but they refuse to listen to what people want or offer it at a reasonable price in a format that people find convenient, that alone should be enough to strip them of their exclusive shitty rights.

Won't someone please think of local industry
