I don't know, it was only a few years ago, and the people that have paid toward $10K for them aren't the first owners, they've been bought via auction etc.
I don't know about you, but I'd be pissed. Not forgetting NIKE confirming unequivocally that it will be a single release.

All I have to do now is source some new tyres or use the ones from my current rims. If I buy new, it's gonna have to wait a while.

Usually $5-20 a rim to swap tyres over.
