Day #2 of 'working from home'. New year feels like last year but more 5's.

It was awesome man. I didn't want to drink too much but managed to see all three fireworks displays and had unlimited fun with family and friends that were over our place. It was a damn good night.

I've got a few, some private, others not so much.

• Get a new career-driven job (and/or a second job after hours)
• Get out of any and all debt
• Hopefully get a house later in the year
• Travel; so far on the cards is Southeast Asia (Cambodia and Vietnam) and Hawaii

That's about all I've come up with at the moment.

Well it was an idea from Jess' sister to be honest, but the culture would be cool and I'd like to see the history about World War II/Vietnam War. I know that international travel at the moment is iffy especially throughout Asia, but you can't live in fear can you?

 

Another one on the cards is South America but I doubt we'll get to that considering all of our plans.

We had grandiose plans of making it work, but I think we put the time to better use. Surely..

 

 

 

Also, Gary I completely agree people shouldn't live in fear. Do whatever, you could get hit by a bus, etc.

Ha ha, well I'm about to go to the beach actually. An 18 year old was killed up north a little while ago by a great white.

 

The way I see it though is to be aware of yourself and your surroundings. If I was to go to Southeast Asia, I'd try and travel with more reputable airlines or companies than Malaysian Airlines/AirAsia (even though I used AirAsia when I went to Thailand in January last year).
