The low end tq is so nice. As addictive as mid to top end of the rs.Diesels do offer stunning fuel consumption and low speed torque but given that diesel costs more at the bowser and added costs as an option from new, combined with much higher repair costs makes me think it's not really worth it. I have a belief that part of the issue is our fuel. A few years ago, when the rest of the world was embracing the new diesel technology, we could not import these vehicles due to the lower quality fuel.
I hear you with fuel. VW said to not use gull. Something about sulphur content.
