Yeah I know. It's damn ridiculous. My girlfriend was (and I think still is) working on a project at work called Evocities which is a campaign to promote and encourage people to live, work and invest in regional cities such as Albury, Armidale, Bathurst, Dubbo, Orange, Tamworth and Wagga Wagga. Very interesting when you look at the house prices there too and there are prosperous careers you can obtain. You don't have to live in a big city to make ends meet, but I guess it doesn't appeal to a lot of careers and people might not see as much or any opportunity as opposed to the city.
And this is a machine.

Yeah I applied for a job a while ago with the Royal Bank of Canada, but you need all kinds of different shit to work in a bank there. Canadian recognised diplomas, certificates to lend money, etc.

Once in a while.
My 6MT H6 seems to have no trouble with a 1000Kg camper, but a car trailer is approaching double that.
Despite what people say, the H6 makes no torque unless you keep the tacho nearer the redline than idle, so much of the performance comes from the gearing.
To me the 6MT is the better option than the 5AT as you can keep the engine on the boil, but the issue with towing will be be getting it off the line. I would think that a hill start in a 6MT with a car hanging off the back would seriously reduce the life of the clutch.
This makes the auto a better option as you have the benefit of the torque converter being able to multiply the engines torque as the car leaves the line. The compromise would be heat, and heat kills autos so you would need an external trans oil cooler (I would get the biggest one possible and then some) and more regular trans oil changes.
The engine could pull a car and trailer no probs (a 2.5n/a could too), it just the rest of the vehicle you need to consider. If you go a B spec then you get bigger brakes, I would consider electric brakes for the trailer, in preference to the over-ride system for a bit more control.
Take a look over a .asn as I'm sure there are at least two members there that use GenIVs to pull car trailers.
If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Canada has different rates of pay for different states too I think.
fork living in sydney. Cesspool of a place.
It is congested and the city wasn't properly "planned" so-to-speak, but I love Sydney. Wouldn't trade it for any other place at the moment. I wouldn't mind living in Melbourne but that's pretty much the only place I've been to more than once to make such a comment. My dream would be living over in one of the Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden) or even the Netherlands and Switzerland. All of which have a high cost of living but I've always been attracted to those countries since I was young.
And the benefits of having dual citizenship makes things even better, and more realistic, should we choose to go down that path in the future.

That's interesting. Too time-consuming to obtain them all if you were to move over? Wouldn't any qualifications from Australia count towards their courses/certificates, even if a few units/competencies were ticked off?

From the initial look, not really. All the certifications and diplomas I have are nationally recognized (99% of courses you do in Aus for finance are, as rules are different outside of Aus) but not world recognized. I'm sure there would be some kind of leniency given strong employment background in Finance, but unsure.

Nah, I can't get onto anything other than the Subyclub Community FB page, because no facebook.
Hey here's an idea, maybe some one should start a forum where you can post a build thread and put pics up on there. Forkt that would be a mad idea, like a forum on the line, and make it about Subaru's, or Suby for short, a sort of organisation, almost club-like...Suby Club...and then I could join this forum on the line, and you could post pictures on to this forum on the line, and I could view the pictures.
You forken BLOWJOB!
That requires effort.
I'm on my phone, so extra effort.
Are you offering me a blowjob?
I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.
