I swear Australian politics is backwards. As a matter of fact, all politics are backwards.

Backwards by choosing a more progressive leader? Backwards by changing leaders when the constituents showed dissatisfaction to their elected representatives?
The US has a deadlocked congress and the UK has a disbanded opposition. The Eurozone has Nationalist parties gathering vast support. So compared to them we are sitting pretty Gaz, I value living in a country where the leaders change and there's no cars burning in the streets.

I blame social media.
I should just convert to single, right?As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;
"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

Which is why I made the comment I did...
Top forking day today!
Yeah, but it's not backwards Gaz, if anything it's a sign of what future democracies will become. Instantaneous polling has redesigned the modern political landscape.
Your face is backwards.

Politics really doesn't appeal to me anyway, I just find it really dumb when members of the same party compete for the top spot, ha ha.

People can't stand Tony.
Tony makes lots of mistakes.
Tony gets kicked out.
Everyone whinges about a leadership spill.
SERIOUSLY?!!!?
Also, we elect a party to run the country, not an individual person. The Liberal Party is still in control; they've just decided to put someone who isn't a muppet as the leader.
Sounds perfectly reasonable in my books!

It's reasonable enough depending on the situation. This spill was motivated primarily by wanting better Governance, and secondarily by internal disputes with Abbott and MPs fearing a loss at next election. Some spills in the past were purely motivated by personal preservation, meaning Labor MPs wanted to keep their jobs regardless of what the populace thought.People can't stand Tony.

Abbott was ok, a great minister he was, a good leader he was not.
Turnbull isn't my pick of the bunch, personally Julie Bishop would own that job, but luckily she has stayed Deputy.
ANYWAAAAAAY
