I can only imagine. People go stupid when things close for longer than a normal two day weekend. Days off have worked out well this year though; 25th (Friday) off, then Saturday and Sunday, then Monday off for Boxing Day. Then I get the 31st and 1st off, followed by another Saturday and Sunday.
Plenty of time to recover from the festivities.
All I hear from this is BANKS ARE LAZY
Also, it's not normal for 'things to close' for the weekend.

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,right off.

We're the only bank (on the street of all other banks) in North Sydney that stays open for the majority of this holiday break. North Sydney dies when school holidays are on, not to mention the Christmas break. So long as I'm getting paid for it I don't really care really, ha ha.
