SO what does one do when he has a day at home midweek?
Why Projector Refresh of course
Started off just doing a wet and dry with a polish to clean them up proper, have been meaning to do it since i bought them... this turned into ripping the orange out of the indicators which turned into a nightmare of dremels and eventually baking the mother fuggers!
all in all i spent the whole afternoon working on headlights lol
Was packing my dacks while i baked them... but it wasn't so bad. i was very close to blacking out the projectors like Mark (Cruisin') and a few other people but i didn't have any paint so i decided against it... quite happy with the result.
Next up, Footwell LED lighting that runs on the same circuit as the Dome light so that it fades also
and HID's for the Projectors.
What your all here for... Photo's
It looks uneven but that's just the camera
Yes i know the tape... SOOOON it will be gone, bodyshop tried to pass a fibreglass bar past me and now they are flat out with hail damage jobs

Yeh that might be an issue. I've got LEDs in the dome light and when it fades, it can flicker a bit. You only notice it if you look at the light directly though...looks perfectly normal if your outside the car for example, so you may be able to get away with it.only issue i think i may have is if the LED's dont fade so well so it may flicker if wired directly so I'm going to have a play and maybe make my own staging circuit for them.

also a few of you probably already know but I am about to start my Turbo build.
this is a quick rundown of what the plan is
Ej22 block
V3 Heads
EJ22/20 Crank
Eagle H-Beam forged Rods (overkill i know but its more of a safety thing than a performance thing.
Wiseco Pistons or maybe Ross Pistons, depends on price but these are them http://www.cimotorsp...j22-subaru.html
Yellow Tops
and a walbro (or maybe a frankenstein commo pump to start with)
Not sure what Tarbo im going to be running but i will work something out. probably going to keep to something basic to start.
i only plan on running around the 10 - 12 psi mark maybe 16 for those special events
the only real dilema i have right now is ECU...
i am going to try stick to something standard for wiring sake but also needs to be able to be somewhat tuneable due to the change in displacement.
i will be sure to keep the subyclub informed on how this comes along

Shocks got noisy.. greased them and shocks got quiet...
Finally got the front bar replaced and new foggies installed after the minor tap back in 2009.
Also had front guard liners put back in.
Got new tyres put on (T1R's) then hit a pothole and blew 2 out
Got a splitter for the Bonnet.. ready for Conversion.
Scored some Monsoons.. they go on tonight
New SubyClub Sticker on the window lol
Now for the revised build.. which goes in as soon as i sell the 2nd Billy.. oh yeah.. bought a 2nd White Bilstein with Sunroof.. beautiful car!
no mods, just cleaned it up, rebuild the engine, Heads were done, MLS Head Gaskets, All Seals.. Timing Belt/ Waterpump you name it.. kinda wish mine was not modified when i drive the new one.. its soooo smooth lol
anyway as soon as that is sold money goes towards new halfcut..
Decided on V4 if i can get it.. or V3 if not..
Not going to waste money on custom build engine.. when the big end goes in the cut i'll be swapping in a EJ25 short block.. but that hopefully will be a while away.
The original idea of a custom 2.2L with v3 heads ends up being a shitload more expensive because of the ECU side and Tuning..
All going well this will all start in April.. i wanted to do it in march but there are no cuts available at the moment
In the mean time.. i should be getting the tints re-done.. either by myself with some Tints from Show Us your Tints.. or maybe a local joint..
the other thing i want to get around to doing is the Footwell Lights.. been too bloody long i just found them again last night after moving and have a good month to waste so some lil DIY mods like that are in the books.
Projector HID's (maybe with Halo Rings)
Finish all the switches in orange with mini LED's
i am looking at installing a Power outlet inside the centre console.. hate having the ciggy lighter occupied with a phone charger all the time.
this is pretty easy to do, just jumper some wires off the existing plug and then run them up the centre console into a plug inside (which i will grab from the back of an outback)
Thats about all i can think of for now..
Oh, Off the P's next week
Stay tuned.. the next couple of weeks will be full of small mods.. i'll try do individual write-ups along the way for those of you playing at home.

HID's (only took 2 years haha)
They are 6000k but i think i might swap to 5000k or 4700k globes, but at the price i couldn't say no.. and The install is pretty neat too.
(Ballast under the Airbox, can just see the plug)
(ballast is mounted next to the battery)
Also..
- Fixed the missing orange globe from Climate control (awaiting delivery of new globes for the rest of the switches)
- Battery Tie Down getting a spray 2moz (small things i know)
- Got a black OEM Oil Cap lol
- Awaiting delivery of white LED parkers and Plate globes.
- oh also.. Forgot about this.. I did finally get the 294mm rotors and larger calipers bolted on a while back. Painted BLAAAAAACK
Parkers
Parkers + Brake
Parkers + Rear Fogs (switched by their own factory fog switch)
Parkers + Brakes + Rear Fogs
That's it for today.

Ah ok fair enough.i do have them... just been too lazy to put em on haha, got all the clips n shiz.. but with the weather i need the car dry as it was suggested that double sided tape also be used to stop them vibrating on the freeway
and i have been lazy haha.
100% recommend using double sided tape.
