Hey guys, so I had a slight issue while racing in a local khanacross event. I was sliding around a corner, and heard a massive pop and my car just died. I immediately turned it off and had a look around at it and checked for anything leaking, and any hoses being blown off, couldn'd find anything.
Tried to start the car but it only cranks, and doesn't start.
I managed to tow it to my mates workshop where I was told to check a few things.

I have checked these things so far:

Fuel - ok

Spark - ok

Timing belt - ok

Air flow - ok

Checked cam and crank sensor with ones off a NA ej20, that were the same colour as my sensors.  - ok it seemed.

Going to try and tow it to my work so I can pressure test it to see if the rings are gone.

Anything else I should be checking? I've already started to put up an EOI on FB about parts. I'm at my wits end with this car, if this motor has blown it'll be the second motor in 1 year of ownership.

Cheers heaps for any help.
Riley.

I have had something like this happen to me. In my case it was the cat convertor collapsed in on itself.
