Only took me about 10 minutes each side, with a C spanner and a hammer and screw driver.

In true Tom style i have already lost one of the C spanners. :(

I'm not going to ask what you did with the hammer and screwdriver.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

I thought you adjust coilies with an Allen key? Or is that only for the camber/castor element?

Moving the top of the strut around changes camber and caster. The C spanner is for adjusting the large nuts that the spring seats on. Winding up raises the base of the spring and lifts the ride height. The nuts have tabs on them for the C spanner to lock into. Using a screwdriver as a chisel to adjust fcuks them. There a two nuts, locked together to prevent movement when in service.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Thanks for that mate, I helped a mate change the camber/castor the other week - I couldn't believe how easy it was to dial in max camber! I had wondered how you'd lower a car by yourself, so the idea is you jack the car up, then tighten the bolt to wind the spring up further? So apart from lowering the ride height, you are also increasing the tension on the spring? Is that right?

Not with toms awesome k sports,he just adjusts his lower bracket connected to the hub up or down by rotating the strut itself,and the tension on the springs are kept the same this is the best type of coilover IMO unlike tein ss where you adjust the spring tension and the lower section is fixed,giving different spring rates at all four corners sometimes and Tom you can buy new c spanners from k sport dealers :) and new nuts if you need them later lol how'd you lose it though? You've only had them a few months

Nik, on mine you can change the height down the bottom of the strut without effecting the spring, or you can adjust them just under the spring, but this changes the spring height etc. Btw I'm repping my SubyClub jumper at my lecture tonight. :D

Ninjared me.

I had both my C spanner in my boot when I went to a mates house to install them and one of them must have slipped under the trimming on the side and dropped down somewhere. I'm sure it's in there somewhere. haha

that mk1 is hawt!!!

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

I should just convert to single, right?
