Nah all originals so far. Might get into a few covers once ppl start to know our stuff. You got to be pretty clever with how and when you do covers...

Yeh too many nub bands start out doing just covers..... Come to think of it I can't sing/dance/play any musical instrument so I shouldn't judge

Yup.
In one sense, its a good way to engage the crowd as you are playing something they are familiar and they can dance and get into it, but if you do too many of them or do it too early in the bands career, you will be seen as a 'cover band'. Unless thats what you're aiming for (for wedding gigs, etc) its a bad thing!

However, when you've built a name for yourself and people are familiar with your own songs and then you bring out a cover, people think its awesome and still get into it.

Revamping old songs is fun too. Making your own little twist on something thats been around forever
