The username of the guy at fault is 'familydad'. You'd think insurance would be the first thing on a family man's mind?

It certainly didn't!That thing just didn't pull up, did it!
I've always hated it how on most club cruises I go to, we usually slow down or come to a stop on motorways and/or highways to let people catch up and whatnot. Just a massive crash like that waiting to happen! Gotta try prevent these things...

CB's should be manditory
Then you need to take your hands off the steering wheel to use it?
You can't win!

And you can let everyone know at once when you have crashed!

haha yeah like me braking down

Seriously though...the last Hunter Cruise was the best one i've been on yet. Everyone drove sensibly and a great day was had by all. Some of the other Sydney cruises i've heard about though...

I was taught to and drive with the attitude of "Expect the Unexpected". In other words expect something to go wrong 100% of the time your driving. Is azaming how many times it's got me out of what could of been an otherwise nasty situation (and nearly always someone elses wrong-doing).

(yes, that's a new one)
I never speed on cruises, never have, never will. Fuck that. The only time I ever caught wreck speeds was when we were on my cruise doing a road called the 'Zig Zag' in Perth hills, it's a one lane, one way, one at a time affair. I actually had the TT set for like two minutes and the car turned off before any of the Foresters made it down the hill.
Yeah.
I'm fucking awesome.

Aek. Shame you didn't come to MDSC and see how real cruises are run.
Hahaha yeah yeah...next year mate! when are you over here?
Our last Hunter Valley cruise earlier in the year was a really good one...no incidents to note

Haha that seems to happen too often Aek!
Pity i missed that cruise looked awesome!
I NEVER take a passenger on cruises. That's not because I don't have friends that would like to go, it's just not something I ever want to risk.
It's just something I do.
Ive taken the Mrs on a few and im always behaved - without a turbo its difficult not to
She enjoys it most of the time. There was one where she wasnt 100% but its usually a good day out.
There are some unexpected things that happen (Hai Jono, Aaron and Timmy) but sometimes they cant be avoided.
The only time ive ever felt uneasy on a cruise was the one from Syd to Terrigal at night along the Old Pac that Jovi organised. It was raining, i was in need of new tyres and all the turbo guys flew off and i wasnt expecting it. I didnt know where i was going being unfamiliar territory so i had to speed excessively to keep up. Nearly lost it so many times but managed to make it to Terrigal safely. I convinced a mate and his Mrs to come out on that cruise too and we both were very shocked at how it was carried out.
Fly out next week. Don't front. Catch up at the teppanyaki meet!
Aek, aka Syd Organiser, organise something. Stat!
