Next street over.

I could've sworn I just seen a Lukey Morganusass lookin' muffuggah driving down the middle of the city just before. All roofracked up 'n shit.

Drinking boots Sydney boys. Put. Them.

Back in the shoe drawer. That's right. I know now, you all have a whole draw just for shoes. I spoke to one dude today reckons he's rocking like 15 pairs, and he ain't no sneakerfreak, just 'likes' shoes.

Damn son. I bought a pair of shoes today and I've doubled my collection.

Some other dude be axing me on some sunglasses type stuff, axing me questions and so forth about where and what brand.

Dude. I got these for a few dollars at a stand in the middle of the street. The only reason they look unique is because every other muffugah done been did spent $400 on they pair.

Great day out today. Loving it. Missus is off getting a massage, which I imagine is her being put in a fantastic packet and microwaved for a while, because I'm told she always feels like a noodle after a massage.

I often mishear that one.

:)

!

I'm going to do some internet speak now, being as that Lukosh pretty much laughed at me when I said I don't know how to use my internet phone styles - so here it comes.

Long post is long.

Where I'm from, the description 'cooked' means something much different. But I like the noodle reference. All yours mate.

The good thing about Sydney is, if you're a smoker, you don't need to purchase cigarettes. You can simply walk through the streets and breathe in.

Changed my injectors this morning, took a hell of a lot longer than expected, because i put it all back together and one was leaking.

After many minutes of swearing i noticed an o-ring had a split in one of them. Runs so smooth now! starts first fire.

and after many hours of rewiring the complicated McIntosh system, i am now running a single head unit finally.

Out with the old:

In with the new:

Looks much better with just one unit.

After today, i am now a qualified Mechanic and Electrician.

Going out tonight, my best mate has come back from overseas!

Do you know what the output of the HU is? and the wattage of your speakers?
Only reason I ask is that I took my speakers out today to find out if my new HU will be to HOT for them... My speakers were labelled Clarion- MAX-30W NOM-15W. And that was written on both the door speakers as well as the tweeters.... My original HU also says "4 x 30W" on the face of it, so it looks like if I turned it up full it wouldn't take long to blow my speakers....

Anyway, hope you don't 'blow up your engine' because your tunes are to loud, followed by blowing up your speakers..
B4's would most likely be higher wattage than mine, but worth checking out all the same I reckon...
Have a good night!

Darren, I have had a shitload of experience with speakers (although I am typing this pissed as) wattage doesn't mean shit all, plug anything with anything and it works, I have had a 220w amp with a 30w speaker and it doesn't blow xo

haha, I would argue wattage does mean something, and if those numbers were RMS the speaker wouldn't last 2 minutes with the amp at full volume. Nevertheless, keep drinkin'! :drinks:

I believe its worse the other way.

EG. 50w amp driving 200w speakers.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Yes Jase, easier to kill a 250W speaker with a 50W amp than a 50W speaker with a 100W amp....
Amplifier clipping is far more destructive to speakers than actual speaker clipping (distortion/square wave).
