The rest of you: Can someone find me some HID's (like on the XT's) for my forry please? Egay will be fine, i'd prefer genuine but not paying bloody Subaru direct prices.
Also, will they slot straight in with minimal fuss?
Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

LOSER.
AMS: Who the hell are you? You're dead to me.
Nawww. Is cool. Whenever you get a minute bro, I can see you've prioritised between work and SC. That's a damn shame. I think we might need to change your red font to pink.

Josh; Like I said mate, still shaped or slowed or whatever you nerds call it. I've driven home just to load this one photo for you. This thing is a monster.
I was going to be cryptic and see if people could guess the car, but I'd say the plates are a give away. One of only 3 (apparently) in Australia, was worth north of $60K at purchase a few years back. Was given to someone by his dad for an eighteenth. Unfortunately he didn't realise the awesomeness of the car and proceeded to put a cheap ass CD player in it, and even hand cut the rear panels to fit shitty speakers.
MY GOD. But apart from that, this thing is pretty slick. Will have more instalments of VERY cool American metal soon - (sorry Buzz, I know you're not into it!).
Very,very cool Nik!
Its a '59 Fairlane 500 ranch wagon.
one of 1,427,835 produced in wagon, sedan, coupe and convertible with either a 223ci 6cyl or 292/332ci V8.
If you have seen 'The Adventures Of Ford Fairlane' with Andrew Dice-Clay he drove a Fairline 500 Victora convertible in that film IIRC.
This one may be missing the garnish from the tops of the front guards?
If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

AMS - Remember what happened to my car from ebay HID's.. they eventually fucked various electronics on my car - Ballasts gone wild is not as sexy as it sounds.

ams: that dude on p-wrx still do them? They were pretty cheap if I recall.
Your XT has HID's from factory right Nik?
Surely there's some smashed up XT's that have stock HID's that would slot straight in to mine??
Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

I'm not really up on it that much mate, it could well be missing some front garnish? I don't have the web power to google image it, can you show me what we're talking about?
Mmmmmm..maybe not.
Must be the upper level cars that copped the garnish as the front on this one is slightly different.

HID's are over-rated
No way man.
I luff my HID's in my lib...and thankfully haven't had any wiring/electrical drama's with them either.
