ONE Port Adelaide - the unification of the Power and the Magpies - is a step closer.
The SA Football Commission this morning approved putting the so-called merger of the AFL and SANFL clubs back on SA football's agenda.
And it has reaffirmed the plan is about strengthening all of SA football, not just the bottom line at the financially challenged Power.
The business plan, developed in joint meetings between the SANFL, Power and Magpies in the past two months and tested by the AFL, would add at least $1 million annually to the Power's bottom line.
It also maintains the Magpies as an independent football team in the SANFL - and not the reserves for the AFL-based Power.
The SANFL club directors and chief executives will be called to an "information meeting" on Tuesday to be briefed on the business model proposed for the "One Port Adelaide".
In the fortnight following this session, the commission will vote on changing the 1995 sub-licence agreement which forbids the Power and Magpies to have a joint business.
The SANFL clubs would vote on changing the league's constitution to recognise the change in the Power-Magpies model.
What do we reckon Walter?

Do you have a STRONG feeling that apart from financial woes, the departure of King Chocco might have more than a little bit to do with the revisit?
I doubt it, I haven't heard anything about it in the news about it here.
Where footy is normally everywhere in the media here.
