or maybe because yesterday is my first day back at work for the week (generally) so after a nice relaxing weekend I pull an 8 to 1am shift and get a bit tired the next day.

But think of this - you are doing 80 in a 60 zone..... something MAY go wrong as a result.... it also MAY go wrong at 60, perhaps it may not always be advisable but its more then likely not going to end in tears, you get caught doing this and you will loose perhaps 3 or 4 points whatever it is.

Overtake on a blind corner where you cant see shit ahead of you and a car is coming the other direction - this could very realistically easily end in tears, one car off the road to avoid the other or a head on. If you are caught doing this though you will now only loose 2 points.

They can't catch the later on a camera and send you a fine in the mail though, its all revenue mate. They don't give a fuck about the public health.

Considering it is Movember, let's go there. The suicide rate in Western Australia was over FIFTY PERCENT higher than the road toll last year. How much money are they putting into helping out depression amongst men and women living rurally. I know suicide happens in the cities, but nowhere near as much - I knew three people last year alone, including my next door neighbour - shit is FUCKED out here yo. We even caught someone attempting and then had to go through that ordeal.

So the numbers are there. Black and white, BUT, suicide doesn't cost anything financially to the Govt. - a bit I s'pose, but nothing like road accidents.

What's harder for a family to come to grips with? A father that dies in a road accident, or a father that doesn't have any hope shooting himself as he climbs over a fence.

But since the govt can't make money out of suicide there will never be any active effort to stop it.
(suicide camera's? $250 per attempt!)
