Saw a news story on the after-effects of the flood and they reckon that cos the price of food etc is going to rise, it will increase inflation therefore causing the RB to raise interest rates.At least interest rates should stay quiet for a while!

Love a nice cold beer after loading rubbish into skips and shovelling mud all day.
Got another day of clean up tomorrow. QLD is a bloody mess.
Feels pretty good to go and just help random people though. I have to talked to people today who's own houses are damaged and they are still helping other people out with their homes.

South Brisbane. Nothing around my area, but me and my mate had today off so we went over to Salisbury area, where the water touched the roof of my Work..
We were just helping out people with their houses though. I'll have to do clean up at work when I'm back on.
We also went to West End which is just incredible how high the water got, although it is right next to the river.

Yeah, alot of people feel the same way up here, it's amazing the amount of people out. Really hard to find somewhere to park in a few places, the police said to me to not worry about no stopping signs etc as long as I wasn't blocking a driveway or fire hydrant.
