Doesn't look like Yasi hit as hard as expected after watching the news. good to see minimum devastation, and no confirmed injuries or deaths as yet.
I was expecting to wake up to a somber morning.
Cheers,
Shazza
I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts, right off.

Still bad, but yes, could have been a lot worse.
Much confusion Alex.

Glad to hear everyone's ok up in QLD. (so far)
And hope there's not too much to clean up!
By the pictures so far, the floods looked far far worse.
Hahahaha I like this from the news: "Cyclone baby born, won't be named Yasi"

RIP Georgie, greatest friend I've ever had. Greatest dog known to man. You will be missed my girl. Every day.
Just read this Nik.
Very sorry to hear. A long and loved life with a peaceful end; you can't ask for anything more.
I feel for ya mate.

She had a stroke, then multiple seizures. Was peaceful at the end though.
Alex: Very sad indeed, I know you're a lot like me when it comes to 'things' and 'people' - but I've had her for 14 years and I am going to admit flat out I am fucking devastated.

It was enough to make me drive to the shop to get a normal globe.
