Lukosh: Who else is better than QF in Australia?

Im using Virgin, might not get free stuff but I honestly have a bit of a mis-trust for QANTAS at the moment, to many issues with their planes.

I actually request not to fly with QANTAS when going with work. Don't get me wrong I used to like them... but until they clean up their act I will be avoiding them.

But for the sake of the excercise, I tested it with my iPhone because alot of ppl have them and will try to open the do.

what i wanted tested btw was if you opened it on computer and took photo's of said QR codes does it work... but the fact your phone just did it right away is mad cool Tom

MM not real sure on that! ones I have been on generally look pretty new, nice leather seats and stuff and the DVD screens in the headrests.

Virgin bought a few of the old Ansett fleet years ago but since then they have been getting the good stuff..

you are getting confused with jetstar, which somehow linked to Qantas somehow

Jetstar's Australian operation is wholly owned by Qantas but is managed separately and operates independently, with the Australian headquarters in Melbourne. I don't think its the QANTAS planes I have an issue with per se, more the servicing or lack-there-of (whatever the issue is), you read every week about another mid air issue with them and each time they seem to become more and more servere.... just a little off-putting.

one could take the view point of atleast they find the issues... plenty of other airlines just dont have their issue hit the news as often, but if you look into it they all have these issues. just that Qantas has never had a serious incident so any slip up or media leak results in big news

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

Far more heavily scrutinised than other airlines anyway, we never hear about a big dip from a Tanzanian Air flight, but that's not to say it's not happening. Also, I didn't think ANY of the reported cases were domestic flights?

Would that revert us back to the time when jeebuz gave us hands with no opposable thumbs? Giving people the thumbs up would still work BUT THATS IT? HOW DO YOU SHOW SOMEONE THE APPRECIATION THEY DESERVE WITH ONLY JELLY THUMBS????
