Yeah just a tap to kick it out, wasn't game to do full Scandy with there being not much room for error on the inside and outside of the corner,, big water eroded dips either side

Up further where we didn't record i did a really good 3rd - 2nd slide with 1st power out.. that was fun. more room to play but we didn't even think to record until we were on our way back down.

For those interested there is a chase on tv, pig noise rex cop car in WA chasing a R33. On that show "the force" channel 7

Sick. Doesn't start for another 1/2 hour here. DAYLIGHT SAVINGS BONUS? I THINK SO!!

Tagged to watch.

I went 4wd'ing today as well. The track didn't really go anywhere though so was a little disappointing.

Nik/Richo...can you think of anyone who'd be up for a bit of softroading? I can only think of people with lowered stiff suspension or bin lids which don't make for great offroading.

Stupid morgan/shiv's thread has got me wanting to do it too.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Ams.. im proof you can still have fun lowered lol.. granted im not too low.

also the chase on the force was not that good.. i posted that comment right at the start.. ended pretty quick cause he went wrong side of the rd so they ended the chase.. but they also stole a GC8 and crashed that.. worth a watch still i guess.

*facepalm* now I dont need to watch it.

Yeah true on lowerage. If any WA chumps are up for a spin through the hills (my gps knows a good track I went down last time) then give me a yell.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Haha nice one Ty.
I tried to get the old girl to oversteer on some gravel today and only kinda succeeded.
Gen3s just dont have enough power low down and they're so damn heavy!

Good slide :D Didn't know you were related to Richard Burns, haha

Haha deja vu :P

Just need to use that weight to your advantage Morgs..

Let the weight cause the slide and break traction, same time you need to drop gear (2nd?) at highish rev's... already sliding so don't have to worry about slipping clutch too much or snapping teeth*

* i am not held responsible for any stupid **** mentioned here that may or may not cause damage to your car :P

In other news..

Potenza RE030's that i have on the front now... chalk and cheese compared to the T1R's lol

hitting some hairpins on only slightly damp road = huge amounts of
understeer
and god damn do they squeal like a pig! quite a few times i would hit the brakes in the dry and they would just screech and squeal at me, ABS had a fair workout today

After about 100 KM of giving them a total flogging they started to come good but still.. nothing like the T1R's...

Def need to get myself back onto T1R's or RE001'a before i hit the hills with the conversion, don't want another cliff hanger moment <_<

Worse than an XA/B/C Ford coupe? Concave and convex rear window. On a hellish angle too. :)

Jase.. i really am shocked at the difference it made.. and the RE030's are far from cheap rubber themselves.

OK i'm hungry now haha.. had a good pub meal for lunch.. munchies have just kicked in again..

Talk to you peeps 2moz.

oh and Hai Jesse.. i see you hiding there :P
