But, it's funny seeing fixie riders. Peddling at about 12374692734rpm and not getting anywhere.

What's wrong with gears?

i like riding my bmx and that gearing , but its not practical for riding to work , so im going to just have the same gearing on a racing with motor bike style handle bars , ferk having the fixxed gear means u have to pedal non stop , im too lazy for that :P

I agree, this is outrageous! Those words even work on OzLib (although it might crash if you use it there...).

Morning all,

Was pleasantly surprised by the quote I got for my cars service at Subaru. Its $326 which I'm willing to pay :)

They are a bit thick though - "Is that the 2.5L H6?" :sarcastic: And why did I need to give them my entire VIN number for a quote? Ugh.

You should have said, "No it's the 2.0L Turbo H6 with CVT". That would have confused them.

What are they actually doing for that amount? I would be seriously cautious of using a dealership Shiv.

Gents,

A bloke at work has a Gen 3 H6 outback and is chasing a service manual. Anyone got one or got a link?

Cheers

Well its the 125K service which I believe is a minor one. So maybe not that cheap afterall, Josh.

But I thought about this -- my cars is currently full stamped by Subaru. And I would like to keep it that way for resale purposes. Not essential, but would be nice. Its not like I'm a high mileage driver and servicing is only once in a blue moon.

What do you reckon? The one I'm going too is a massive dealership. Been around for yonks. I'd like to think they can do a minor service without cocking it up.

That price seems ok Shiv but I'd be dubious about taking my car there if they had to ask that question!

Morgan, Drugs lay off them LOL (that price is terrible :P)

Shiv that price is mental if its a minor service.

Also having your book only stamped by Subaru will make absolutely zero difference when it comes time to sell, some people may see it as a negative.

Cam - If I actually had log books I would stamp them myself too! :P
