Watched a movie called S.W.A.T:Firefight lastnight.. it was pretty good. although the ending was too short.. needed more.. but probably a good B+ movie as far as ranking.

So i get a full on physical and Health Check through work next week.. wonder what it will return.. i consider myself fairly fit.
Dont smoke, Rarely drink, not overweight, keep somewhat active, i eat a fair bit of bought food as opposed to making it myself but even then i take the moderately healthy option.

Local Restaurant take away rather than "Fast food" (Japanese, traditional Chinese, indian, etc etc rather than maccas, KFC..)

I'm interested to know my Cholesterol mostly.. cause my serving size is normally 2-3 times larger than standard and i quite often "Snack" on junk.. hot chips, pies, just crap stuff like that but main meals are usually good.

Has anyone else had one of these checks?

I drank a ton of beer, eat a fair amount of fatty foods and I don't play sport of any kind.

Wonder how I would go in one of those tests? :P

Just watched the Doco on the Veyron you suggested AMS :D that was pretty cool.

Cholesterol is no indication of anyone's BMI.

You could be a rake, eat rubbish (like you are) and potentially have high cholesterol readings.

oh. and hai everyone.

Staff loans are cash rate + 2%

Normal loans are 14.4 for a fixed, unsecured PL.

word.

next time you're at the GP's, get him to do a full blood test.

I do this every six months now, to make sure everything's hunky dory.

Needles aren't scary anymore.

Well, not as scary as a scalpel, at least.

should have gone to you for my loan... although I'm not fussed.. took it out last month.. will be paid back next month hopefully +$125 early repayment fee
oh well.. gotta spend money to make money.

shazz.. whats the deal with there being a different rate to what is advertised depending on your circumstances???

like i got my loan.. advertised was "FROM" 14% to 18%.. i was approved mid way between.. does paying a loan off give you better rates next time?

Is that all you have to ask for? just saying I want to get a full blood test - then they will send it away and do a bunch of **** to it and tell you if you ok or not?

How much blood do they take?
