ok so.. i can buy this http://www.ikea.com/...oducts/20190056 for $169 (have to include the god damn slats in the price so thats why its $60 more)
or.. i can try make something similar.. probably still buy the slats.. so $60 but how much should a few lengths of 2x4 cost me.. surely i should be able to come in under $100 easy?

One of the most worthwhile investments you can make in yourself is a good bed.
If you spend good coin on a decent bed, you'll be more rested.
And if you're better rested, you can perform (and earn) better.
