He has 3 sets of wheels. The original wheels are in storage (with the original tyres!!)

He had a weird set of rims on today:

It wasn't even clean apparently.
My mind was blown how good it was. I couldn't believe the interior as well, everything was all original and there was not one single mark on the seats or leather.

frame all stripped , primer all done , and matte black finished , just have to reassemble the parts i have now , then buy some wheels , chain tires and seat and im set 
oh and since when did you have to show ID when buying spray paint in a can

Probably because they thought you were going to throw up some signage on a train.

While that is a rare car in a rare colour and looks to be in awesome condish, I can see many varations from original spec.
I would assume he has all the orig parts and the ID tags?

There is a lot of things that are not original, including the whole engine and exhaust. But he has changed nothing that cannot be returned to complete original spec. (he has every single original part at home)

Just modified my Subaru 360 in GT5. Turboed it too.
From 14hp to 56hp.
Top Gear track time of 1:52.35
What a monster, does 4th gear skids on it's skinny rear tyres.
