Got my car insurance renewal, the agreed value went down by 3000 dollars and the monthly price went up by 15 dollars.
With no accidents or claims.

I rang them saying i can find cheaper elsewhere and they basically said "ok, should i close your policy now?"

Tried calling you, anyway. Before you call them make sure you do an online quote first, I did and found a new policy would be cheaper than a renewal and they matched it.

AMS: They have to price match with themselves though, by law unless there are differences in the contract. So I can't say 'my mate has the same car' - BUT - if Walts gets a cheaper online quote, he can say 'I HAVE THE CAME SAR'

She'll say 'Excuse me?'

Walts will stop laughing and say, 'I meant SAME CAR'.

Just gave them a call. It's a pity I couldn't get angry at the girl because she sounded hot.


It was 17,900 cover for 86 bucks a month.

The form they sent me was 13,900 for 96 bucks a month.

She changed it to 16,000 for 90 bucks a month.


Apparently all the premiums have gone up because all the claims from Queensland. That's not my fault that happened! B1tches.

Probably can't get it cheaper than that anyway.

Not really, we just go without something for 40 days, teaches sacrifice etc, ends at Easter. As kids we used to go 40 days without candy, certain meats etc, and we used to have fish on fridays, but that was mostly the whole year, not just Lent, it's Catholic tradition.

I had to grow up Catholic, very Irish and Italian parish where I grew up, took their religion seriously. Don't mind it to be honest, i'm as Catholic as I am Australian.
