I think Morgs is saying the classier light housings might have been a 'perk' of the SP23 edition. Sounds perfectly plausible.
Like getting a heinous coloured dash trim on an HSV.

My predicament -
Mrs is pretty keen to get another SP20. Loved the car. The interior, the shape, the sportiness, the hatchness, enough get up and go but nothing ridiculous...
We pretty much stole ours for $8k but the ones online at the moment are all slightly older model (different tail lights, wheels, etc) or too far away.
Then, if I put an extra $1500-2k into the budget, I can get a 3, which is obviously the newer model of the 323 and will be better for resale in a few years?
