I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Drove from Sydney to Taree to see my sister and little nephew.. Managed to do it all in one petrol tank! Last time I did a full tank I got barely 380km out of it.. Ever since I got one of those K&N air filters (donation by my man Shazza) my fuel economy has increased amazingly! I got 625km out of a full tank.. which isn't bad for a 2.5l automatic suby :P




i went to forster on the longweekend got over 600km to 50L cruise control ftw

That's so awesome your doing that! Knowing you, you'll have a lot of fun with it all. Even if you don't make any money out of it, having a small project on the side will be a great experience no doubt.

I hear all the stories of old holdens, utes, skylines and V8s that dad used to buy, fix up and sell for slightly more and it makes me want to do the same.

Just to let you know, I picked up this SSS for $5k with 170k kms, blue, unmodded, 5sp, etc. I've looked in Carsales and they seem to be up for much more.

I'll have to put rego on it within the next week plus a new engine mount (can do thatyself) but in 3 months or so I reckon I could sell it upwards of $6500

Guys. If I take Lish's car to an auto electrician, will they be able to hook up the headlights so they go off when the keys are taken out of the ignition?

I have ******* no idea about wiring, so spare me the wise cracks please.

No, it beeps and ****. But all our other cars are Subaru's and they just turn off the lights. She has a dark green car and we live rurally, so I don't like here driving at any time of day without headlights.

Just switch the supply to the headlamp relay with a relay from switched side of the ignition.

Simple?!??
